Always On Top Roofing started six years ago with one truck, a ladder rack and a phone number neighbours passed along. Nearly every job since has come from someone who watched us work on the street or heard about us from a family member — which is exactly the kind of accountability that keeps standards high.
Boston's housing stock demands a wider skill set than most contractors carry. A single address can combine a steep shingle front, a flat rubber rear ell, aging clapboard and undersized gutters. We trained for all of it so a homeowner does not have to coordinate three separate trades and hope the transitions get sealed correctly.
Pricing is written down before work begins, materials are named in the proposal, and change orders are discussed rather than discovered on the invoice. When the last shingle is set, the property gets a magnet sweep and a full cleanup before we leave the block.

Derek Zablosky has spent 25 years in roofing and related trades, working on everything from steep-slope shingle replacements to flat rubber membrane systems on Boston's older building stock. He founded Always On Top Roofing six years ago with a straightforward goal: do the job right, treat the property with respect, and leave the customer happy.
Derek is personally involved in estimates and job oversight, which is why customers get direct answers instead of a sales pitch. If something needs to be addressed, he will tell you — and if it can wait, he will tell you that too.
